Taxi:

Jeff's Taxi Service runs air-conditioned vehicles for convenient transportation around the Island at any time.  Reservations possible as well as airport service.  For information call (705)377-6222.

Ferry

Through three seasons a ferry runs two to four times daily between Tobermory on the Bruce Peninsula north to South Baymouth on Manitoulin Island.  For more information on this fun experience with a gorgeous view click here.

Flight

There are flight training and scenic adventure flights available at both the Gore Bay and Manitowaning airports.

Helicopter

Both Island Hospitals are equipped with a landing pad for helicopter transportation should you need to be rushed to a larger center.

VON

The VON (Victoria Order of Nurses) will take the elderly or in need to any health related appointments through the use of a Volunteer base. There is a user fee for this service depending on how far you need to go.

If you prefer to have a friend or family member drive you there is a travel grant possible of up to $80.  In order to get the grant you must ask your doctor to sign a form that you get at the Mindemoya office.
